Detective Crown and Babette are in their office.
DETECTIVE CROWN
I don't get it... Every
single person within a 10
mile radius of downtown
Calgary was affected last
night by this
hallucination... Everyone
except me that is. What is so
different about me? Why am I
immune?
BABETTE

32 BEEFART AND CHEENKAW LIKE DOUGHNUTS 32
Beefart is sitting in the Cheenkaw mobile when
Cheenkaw walks up with some refreshing coffee and
doughnuts.
BEEFART
Yes! The doughnuts! Nice...
Mine's got cream.
CHEENKAW
I know.. I bought them.
BEEFART
Well Cheenkaw, it's another
brand new day in the
beautiful city of Calgary.
Anything could happen.
CHEENKAW
I hope nothing like that
craziness last night happens
again.. I don't think I could
stand it. We have faced a lot
of bizarre and sinister
enemies in our time, but
being attacked by a table is
a new one to me.
BEEFART
I know what you mean. I hope
that was a once in a life
time experience.
Cheenkaw's phone rings. He answers it.
CHEENKAW
Yes, yes, alright we will be
there right away.
BEEFART
Who was it?
CHEENKAW
It was Marla.. She says that
she has some important and
disturbing information that
we need to see down at the
University.
BEEFART
Did she say what it was?
CHEENKAW
No.. But she said it was
right up our ally.
BEEFART
Hmmm.. Sometimes I wished our
ally wasn't exclusively
filled with monster, aliens,
unstoppable killers, and
shape shifting mind
controlling weirdos.
CHEENKAW
Ahh.. But then life wouldn't
be as fun as it is old
friend.
BEEFART
You make a valid point old
friend. Hot Dog!
CHEENKAW
Let's roll!
They leave in a hurry.
33 DIAMOND DUST AND THE MOSQUITO 33
Silk and Sylvia are hiding around a corner from the
museum, the alarm is sounding and Silk has the
baseball diamond and is pulling off an ape mask.
SILK
Your plan worked like a
charm, no one suspected that
a monkey would steal the
world's most precious
diamond. It was absolute
genius!
SYLVIA
I'm just lucky I had such a
realistic ape mask.
SILK
We should get back to the
boss, the cops will be here
soon with all that racket,
and Nathaniel Weisburg
doesn't like to be kept
waiting.
They get up and start going the other way When they
are stopped by the Mosquito.
THE MOSQUITO
Not so fast. My investigation
has lead me straight to you.
And I have little doubt you
will help me locate Nathaniel
Weisburg.
SYLVIA
We won't help you with
anything!
THE MOSQUITO
You will help me, or you will
pay the consequences. Now
will you come with me
peacefully?
SILK
We don't have time for this
crap lady, Sylvia, show her
what we mean.
SYLVIA
With pleasure.
Sylvia pulls out some kind of laser gun from her
pocket and shoots The Mosquito with it, it hits her
and she takes a step back, but seems fine. Silk and
Sylvia look at each other.
SILK
This lady isn't human! Lets
get out of here!
They start to run. Meanwhile near all this action
Beefart and Cheenkaw are walking along together
headed for the Astrophysics Department.
BEEFART
I wonder what all those
sirens are for?
CHEENKAW
I don't know, but they seem
to be coming from the
museum.. We should go check
it out.
BEEFART
You are a smart man Cheenkaw,
let's do it!
In the distance they see Silk and Sylvia being
pursued by the Mosquito. She catches up with Silk
and grabs a hold of him. Sylvia looks back.
SILK
Sylvia! Take this!
Silk throws the baseball diamond to Sylvia and she
starts to run off, all the while Silk is struggling
with The Mosquito. Beefart and Cheenkaw have
started to run over to the action.
THE MOSQUITO
You aren't going anywhere
little girl!
Just then Beefart and Cheenkaw arrive and stand
between any attempt The Mosquito may have made at
capturing Sylvia. Beefart and Cheenkaw are in
shock. Silk looks like he is zoned out the whole
time.
BEEFART
Laura! Laura McKnees? It's
you!
CHEENKAW
Oh my god, we heard you were
dead!
THE MOSQUITO
I don't know who you are
talking about, but you just
let that criminal get away!
BEEFART
Laura! It's us! Beefart and
Cheenkaw!
THE MOSQUITO
Look, I don't know who Laura
is, A Beefart sounds like it
is something disgusting, and
I have no idea what a
cheenkaw might be. And it
would appear that it is now
too late to do anything about
that girl at all.
BEEFART
You don't remember us? We
were the original crime
fighting superheroes. We have
defeated villains time and
time again, standing side by
side, shoulder to shoulder,
with me and Cheenkaw only
slightly more shoulder to
shoulder than you were.
CHEENKAW
Laura, you are our friend,
and our partner.
THE MOSQUITO
I am The Mosquito, true I
have lost my memory, and I
may have been this Laura you
speak of.. But not any more.
You Guys seem like nice
enough people, but the fact
remains that you are idiots
for letting that girl get
away.
BEEFART
See! You are Laura! You
always called us idiots!
THE MOSQUITO
Sorry.. I've never seen you
in my life.
CHEENKAW
Why may I ask, have you
apprehended young Silk? He
certainly isn't any kind of
criminal.
THE MOSQUITO
If he is an associate of
yours, then you need to
either be more careful of
your friends, or perhaps you
are suspect as well. For he
has just taken part in
stealing the largest and most
valuable diamond in the
world.
CHEENKAW
What Silk? That kid couldn't
steal his own shadow.
THE MOSQUITO
I caught him red handed.. His
accomplice.. The girl you let
escape, got away with the
diamond.
BEEFART
Silk, is this true?
SILK
I.. don't know.. Yes..
CHEENKAW
Something seems fishy here,
and it ain't just Laura this
time.. Let's get him inside.
THE MOSQUITO
He is MY prisoner.
CHEENKAW
This kid is our partner's
boyfriend. We were on our way
to meet up with him in that
building over there when we
ran in to you.
THE MOSQUITO
I thought you said I was
supposed to have been your
partner.
CHEENKAW
Well, yeah you were.. But
then you died and got
resurrected as a mermaid, and
married the loch ness
monster.. And then a couple
months ago, some idiot tried
to blow up loch ness and
since then both you and your
husband have been presumed
dead.
BEEFART
Obviously you have been busy
and we needed to hire more
help.
THE MOSQUITO
Your story seems pretty
logical. Let's go.
They walk off towards the building.

Sylvia runs in with the diamond.
NATHANIEL WEISBURG
Excellent Sylvia! Where is
Silk?
SYLVIA
Silk was captured.
NATHANIEL WEISBURG
Silk's an idiot.
SYLVIA
I know.. But Beefart and
Cheenkaw were there.
NATHANIEL WEISBURG
Curses! Those meddling fools!
SYLVIA
But there was some new lady..
She had super powers, She's
the one that caught Silk, if
it hadn't been for Beefart &
Cheenkaw, I would have been
caught also.
NATHANIEL WEISBURG
Well, what's done is done..
At least we have the diamond.

35 AT THE UNIVERSITY THEY DISCOVER A SPACESHIP 35
Beefart, Cheenkaw, The Mosquito, and Silk the
prisoner walk in the room where The professor and
Marla are looking at some pictures.
MARLA
Why do you have Silk all tied
up like that? And who's the
lady?
BEEFART
Because, Marla, he was just
caught stealing the Baseball
diamond.
MARLA
What?!
CHEENKAW
And the cherry on top of the
camel.. Marla, meet Laura
McKnees.
MARLA
Laura McKnees! Oh my god! The
way they talk about you... I
didn't really think you were
real some times.. You, my
dear are a legend. So what
the hell is all this about my
boyfriend being a diamond
thief?
Cheenkaw is looking in Silk's eyes.
CHEENKAW
Don't get too upset with him
Marla, I can almost guarantee
that his mind is being
controlled.
MARLA
Is there anything you can do?
CHEENKAW
In fact there IS something I
can do. I can recover his
mind and memories by engaging
in a hypnotic session!
THE MOSQUITO

PROFESSOR HAMSWORTH

CHEENKAW

Cheenkaw looks in Silk's eyes and snaps his
fingers, Silk collapses to the floor.

He'll be alright in a few
minutes, now what was this
important evidence you wanted
up to come take a look at?
PROFESSOR HAMSWORTH
Look here Cheenkaw, these
images came back from the
main observatory this
morning. At first we thought
it was just a small
meteorite, but as it got
closer, and it IS getting
closer, we can see that it is
a spaceship.
THE MOSQUITO
Are you guys serious?
BEEFART
Are you a super hero? That's
what I thought.. Consider
nothing to be too ridiculous
at this point, thanks.
MARLA
It is coming straight for
Calgary.. It is gonna be here
some time within the hour.
Cut away to Bo-Bo's space ship heading towards
Earth, and Bo-Bo at the controls.
BEEFART
That ship looks very
familiar.
CHEENKAW
Beefart! I think It is the
Spidapple People! The Ship
that took Bo-Bo away so long
ago!
BEEFART
Why would they be coming
back?
Silk starts to wake up, he is very groggy and out
of it.
SILK
Bo-Bo.. Bo-Bo...... Nooo!!
Marla rushes to Silk.
MARLA
Silk.. Are you okay? What
happened? Why did you steal
the diamond?
SILK
Marla.. Bo-Bo is coming for
me. I've been infected with
the blood of Rolf Tompson.
BEEFART
Rolf Tompson! Oh my god!
CHEENKAW
If this is true, it explains
the space ship and
everything!
BEEFART
Bo-Bo is coming back! We are
all doomed! And with Rolf
Tompson's blood flowing
through this kid's veins..
Jesus Cheenkaw.
CHEENKAW
I know old friend.. There
will be nothing to stop him.
MARLA
It doesn't explain my
boyfriend becoming a jewel
thief!
THE MOSQUITO
Yeah, and he better have a
damn good reason or I'm still
gonna make him pay for his
crimes.
SILK
It wasn't my fault.. It was
Nathaniel Weisburg... He
forced me to do it.
Marla looks up at Cheenkaw and Beefart, they all
look confused.
MARLA
Nathaniel Weisburg? Isn't he
the host of that weird old
movie show on TV?
THE MOSQUITO
Nathaniel Weisburg is my
sworn mortal enemy, and the
most diabolical and evil man
who ever walked the face of
the Earth.
CHEENKAW
Are you sure we are talking
about the same Nathaniel
Weisburg?
(he checks his watch)
Actually his show is starting
right now.
SILK
Yes.. This woman speaks the
truth.. It is all coming back
to me now... He is dangerous!
Cheenkaw turns on the professor's TV.
MARLA
How do you know him?
SILK
I work for him Marla! I'm
there every day! And every
day he puts me under hypnosis
and I forget every thing that
happened.. He controls my
mind! And he has done so much
more... I can't begin to
describe the evils of that
man..
THE MOSQUITO
Is this show live?
SILK
Yes..
THE MOSQUITO
Then I must go to this studio
to kill this man.
Cheenkaw grabs her by the shoulders.
CHEENKAW
Laura! There must be another
way! Must we always kill?
Must we?
THE MOSQUITO
I told you, my name ain't
Laura.. And no.. There is no
other way... Shh.. Let me see
my enemy
The credits for the show are over and Nathaniel
Weisburg appears on the screen.
36 NATHANIEL WEISBURG TURNS ON THE MACHINE 36
In the studio Nathaniel is filming the show he has
the diabolical machine with him.
NATHANIEL WEISBURG
Good evening, and Welcome to
the World of the Uncanny.
World of the Uncanny? Yes my
friends, for you are about to
be part of the greatest
experiment of all time.
Shortly I will be turning
this machine on.. This
machine is my greatest
invention, and using the
power harnessed within the
world's largest and most
perfect diamond I will be
able to send each and every
one of you to a new world.. A
world of the Uncanny.. A
world where your deepest and
darkest secrets, dreams, and
fears will be the only
reality left to you.
And while the entire world is
unable to think for itself, I
will be the new ruler of
Earth.. With every person
doing my bidding... Every
person obeying my every
command, all while your souls
have disappeared in to a new
dimension.

SILK
There's nothing we can do...
The machine is perfect.. the
wave of energy starts out
from the machine and travels
outward all over the entire
world.. Consuming the souls
of every person in it's path.
BEEFART
I agree with Laura.. I mean
The Mosquito.. We have to get
down there Immediately.

And now my friends I bid you
farewell... Or should I say
hello.. To a brand new world
order controlled by me..

He turns on the machine, and laughs hysterically.
39 BACK AT THE ASTROPHYSICS LAB AGAIN 39
MARLA
Oh my god! How far is it to
the Studio from here.
CHEENKAW
I fear not far enough...
The wave of energy travels through the room and
every person becomes a zombie.
40 EVERYONE IS AFFECTED, THE CITY IS SLOWLY BEING 40
ABSORBED
There is an aerial shot of Calgary and you can see
the wave of energy slowly creeping out from a
single point.. The whole city is becoming affected.
Streets are stopped.. People have frozen in place,
traffic lights change but no cars move.. Nathaniel
Weisburg seems to have won! In the distance you can
see Bo-Bo's space ship heading towards Earth.
41 BO-BO ARRIVES AND GETS SUCKED IN TO THE HOUSE OF 41
THE UNCANNY
On the spaceship the wave of energy hits Bo-Bo and
even he is affected. The space ship goes out of
control and plummets towards the Calgary Tower
hitting it and exploding the top. The space ship
falls to the ground and inside you can see that Bo
Bo is alive and he exits the craft and stands out
in front, safe from the fire, but very much under
the spell of Nathaniel Weisburg's diabolical
machine.
42 IN THE STUDIO POST TAKE OVER. 42
NATHANIEL WEISBURG
Now.. I may rest while the
world becomes mine.
He sits back in a chair and looks menacing.
43 SILK IS RUNNING THROUGH THE TREES BEING CHASED BY 43
BO-BO
Silk is back in the forest, and Bo-Bo is right behind
him chasing him through the trees, it is a classic
Rolf Tompson chase with Silk falling down all the
time and Bo-Bo nearly crashing down on his head with
a machete.
44 BEEFART IS ALONE WITH AN EMPTY BOX OF DOUGHNUTS 44
Beefart is in the office and the lighting suggests
that there is no reality any more, he sits on the
floor with an empty box of doughnuts.
BEEFART
Where the hell am I? What the
hell is going on? Cheenkaw!
Cheenkaw! This box of doughnuts
is empty... It would seem as
though Nataniel Wiseburg has
won. I gotta find Cheenkaw.
Beefart looks down at the box of doughnuts and it is
now filled with eggs.
BEEFART (cont'd)
This is ridiculous.
Beefart gets up to leave.
